Checklist for Properties to be Photographed

First impressions are everything. Your property will be shot as-is when our photographer arrives. 

Please see the following steps to prepare the property for the best shoot possible!

    • Cars are out of the driveway

    • Front yard is neat. Grass is mowed, and leaves swept away. In winter, snow should be removed from driveways and walkways.

    • Toys, bicycles, trash cans put away out of sight

    • Turn on ALL outside lights

  • Kitchen

    • Island and countertops cleared of appliances and clutter (As much as possible. Less is more.)

    • Refrigerator cleared of magnets, schedules, calendars, or other items

    • Hide kitchen garbage can out of sight (garage is a good hiding place)

    • Empty the sink. Remove sponges, soap, dishes, etc.

    Bathooms

    • Toilet lids must be fully closed

    • Shower items (soap, body wash, scrubbers, razors, etc) should be removed and hidden

    • Clean countertops (soap dispensers, tooth brushes, razors, etc)

    All Rooms

    • Turn ALL inside lights on (try to make sure all bulbs are working, and color matching)

    • Open window blinds and drapes completely unless advised otherwise by your real estate professional

    • Clear all floors of items such as mats, pet food bowls, dog beds, tv tables, etc. (As much as possible. Less is more.)

    • Hide all your garbage cans

    • Open doors to all areas (exclude areas you or your real estate agent do not want photographed)

    • Conceal electronic cords

    • Hide “for sale” signs

    • Remove items with bright color if they are distracting
